What is the Catan National Championship?
Every year players from around the country compete in local qualifying tournaments. The winners of each of the tournaments win a seat at the Catan United States Championship. In 2019, the Catan US Championship will be held at the Origins Game Fair in Columbus, Ohio. Players will face off against all other winners of the qualifier tournaments and the Origins Qualifiers to become the year’s US Catan Champion on Saturday, June 15th. The Semi-Final and Final will be on Sunday, June 16th.
Every two years the US Champions are sent to the Catan World Championship tournament to represent the United States. The 2020 Catan World Championship location to be announced at a later date.
We are currently booking stores, conventions, and charity events to host the Qualifier Tournaments. Keep checking back to see more listings! The 2019 Catan National Championship Season ends in May 31st, 2019. The 2020 Season starts June 1st, 2019.

NOTE: All participants must be US Citizens/Permanent Residents and be 18+ years of age. Winners of Qualifier tournaments are not allowed to play in additional Qualifier events for the 2019 Season.
